Qiongqi is a member of the Four Fierce Beasts in Chinese mythology. He has the body of a tiger, characteristics of a bull, and has a pair of wings. He’s extremely intelligent and is able to understand human language. He enjoys eating people starting from their heads. Qiongqi is known to fly into battlefields and eat those standing on the good side. If he hears about an extremely loyal individual, he will bite the nose off of him. If he sees those who are evil, he will reward them with wild beasts he captures to further encourage them in their actions. His actions are similar to those of Taowu, toying with his victims, like a cat would with a mouse, before devouring them. As a result, Qiongqi is used to symbolize those who are disloyal that enjoy the company of the corrupted and villainous.
